Hi Marlene,

We are in the process of working with the permittee for the event. We will require that the permittee submit an approved ODOT Right-of-way permit prior to approving the City event permit. Once everything has been submitted to the City, we either approve or deny the event. So, I would say go ahead and process the permit if the requirements meet your needs on OR 211 and we will proceed with review.

Thank you for letting me know.

Jennifer:

I have a permit request for runners crossing Hwy 211/161 at Cole Avenue and traversing through city streets and once again crossing the highway at Ridings Ave. running along the sidewalk back to Heckard Field. They will be placing Event Ahead signs at each crossing on the highway. Can I get your approval of the event to take place within your city limits on February 6, 2016 between the hours of 9am to 11am?

Once I get your approval of the event, my permit will be issued to the school. Thank you!
