Hi Rob,

I have some unfortunate news. The flow meter at the plant does not log the data electronically. It is tracked on a paper roll. I will be confirming that with Jon Patrick tomorrow. If that is the case we can consider moving a flow meter to the manhole location prior to WWTP headworks.

We will have the average daily flows at from the meter, however I also found out it is sometimes influenced by the screen that removes the solids at the headworks.

Subject: Molalla Flow Monitoring - Updated Map 02-12-15

Jenn,

I’ve updated the map with the flow meter names, numbers, and locations. In speaking with Dan, it sounds like we’re due for a data download by end of this week or early next. We are in the midst of analyzing the data and should have some recommendations for maintenance (we’ve already noticed a problem with the #002 Tolliver meter depth sensor) in the next day or so.

One request – can we get the flow data into the WW Treatment Facility with each data transfer? We perform a flow balance and would need that flow data in order to perform that check on the data.

Lastly, Rylee Archuleta (you met her during our initial recon of the flow metering sites) will be assisting on our Molalla work. You will likely see more e-mails from her on flow metering. She may also be assisting Dan Laffitte with the WW Treatment Facility evaluation as well.

Hope you’re well!

Rob
