I just got back to my desk and tried to call. I think your switchboard goes down at 4, so I may have missed the window for today. I would be glad to talk to you tomorrow. We are totally on the same page with respect to expectations for tomorrow night. It’s a dialogue between DEQ and the City, not a public meeting.

Nina – I was hoping to chat with you about your visit tomorrow. The City Council may or may not have questions for you but what I want to discuss is that we are not expecting the public to engage. My concern at this point is that the public who will show up to engage you will be the same public that is currently in the midst of a lawsuit with the City of Molalla. That will cause issues for the City Council. We have this set up as a presentation from DEQ to the City Council – not a public meeting. I have some time before 10am tomorrow or in the early afternoon.
