Hi Daphne,

We prefer the 250 to match for repair purposes.

Thank you for double checking.

Subject: Molalla Ave Improvements - Fire Hydrant Selection

Hi Jennifer,

During the bidding phase for Molalla, the City requested we specify the fire hydrant to be “Mueller Super Centurion 250.” The Contractor submitted the attached cut sheets for the hydrants and storz adapters. On the first page, please notice they indicate the “Super Centurion 350” which has a higher working pressure.

I am wondering if the City prefers the 250 to match the rest of the hydrants, or do you want to go with the 350 as they’ve proposed? I don’t know why they selected the 350 for the submittal.

Please let me know if I should respond and request the 250.

Thanks,
