Hello Jennifer & Chris,

I am following on the email below that I sent last week. Addendum #1 addressed my questions #1 but not #2 and #3.

Can you please respond to my question #2 and #3?

Sincerely,

Subject: Molalla Ave Imp - Questions

Hello Jennifer & Chris,

I have a few questions regarding to the Molalla Ave Improvements project:

1. Please advise which bid item the stamped colored concrete gets paid under. If the colored concrete is paid under bid item #35 – Concrete Walk, it will convolute the unit price of this bid item. If the quantity of concrete walk increase, it will be a disadvantage to the owner & the tax payer. We suggest that another bid item is created via the Addendum only for the stamped colored concrete.

2. Does the removal of the existing sidewalk & curb get paid under the Bid item #8 – Removal of Structures & Obstructions? Or the removal quantity is already accounted for under bid item #10 – General Excavation? Please verify and confirm.

3. There are a lot of business entrances along the alignment of the project. However, there is no bid item for “Temporary Access” on the bid schedule. Please advise which bid item is this work incidental under.

Sincerely,
