Two days is good. I would prefer 10 if possible, but we need to go with the contract and plan notes for 2 days.

Hi Jenn,

See attached for the excerpt from the precon agenda that Greg is referring to. I believe this requirement is in reference to General Note 10 on Sheet 2/59 that requires written notice to property owners 2 business days in advance of work in and/or crossing their driveways. Traffic Control Note 15 and Sequencing Note 6 on Sheet 38/59 also requires 48 hour advance notice to adjacent properties (it does not specifically require written notice only though). I don’t see a requirement for the contractor to submit the written handout 10 days in advance to the City for review. Is that listed in the plans and specs somewhere that I am missing?

Chris,

Following up on our phone conversation last week regarding the Molalla Ave project.

In the PRECONSTRUCTION AGENDA under PUBLIC SAFETY AND CONVENIENCE, it states, the contractor will submit for review a written handout 10 days in advance of the work, to be delivered door to door 48 hours prior to the activities. Please confirm this is a contract requirement.

We are ready to get started as soon as we receive approval of the traffic control plan and temporary sign locations, I am trying to avoid any unnecessary delays.

Thank you,

Greg Spence
