Jennifer,

I would strongly recommend the liquid smoke. It produces more smoke which makes it easier to find/record any emissions and easier to work with in the field than lighting a smoke bomb and dropping it in the hole.

Hurco is probably one of the most well known manufacturers of smoke testing equipment, if you need multiple quotes: http://hurcotech.com/Sewer-Line-Smoke-Testing-/

Hi Rob,

I briefly looked up Smoke Testing and what it’s going to take to run the tests. The equipment does not seem to be pricey, however there’s a choice between liquid and smoke bombs. What do you recommend or is it both given the situation?

Here’s one supplier that I found.
