Jennifer,

I see an error in my recommendation regarding the first report on 211 from 213 to Dixon. The first sentence was suppose to read that we are NOT seeing speed related crashes in that area. I think, as far as ODOT goes, it will ultimately boil down to what the speed study and other statistics tell us, rather than an opinion from the PD, but I just wanted to bring that to your attention.

Hi,

Attached are two speed zone requests for OR 211 through the Molalla area. The City has recently been in discussions with Rich Watanabe, other Region 1 representatives and Clackamas County focusing on improving pedestrian safety and accident reduction on OR 211. As a result, we would like to request a speed study to reduce the limit and improve safety for overall local citizens and users passing through.
