I am okay with the language, I have not seen any comments from Tina today.

Jennifer,

The new Task (Task 502 under Phase 500) would be under existing Amendment No 2. This would be a no cost amendment, it just modifies the scope to allow us to take funds from Task 501 and use them for any additional unfunded requests by the City or Ring Bender. An example of this was the late August request for preparing operator checklists for the RWUP (additional four sites beyond the North Coleman and South Coleman sites).

If you and Ring Bender are okay with the language, I can get the official amendment prepared.

Thanks,

Robert Lee

Hi Rob,

I just wanted to clarify the Misc. Client Support is in addition to the already signed agreement?

The Activities language looks acceptable to me.

Jennifer and Tina,

As we discussed previously over the phone, we’ve been occasionally asked to provide support on tasks that are outside our scope. The recent push for a WWTF evaluation and subsequent training is an example (though in that case, a separate amendment was prepared but has not yet been fully executed).

We do have some remaining funds under our I/I budget, as Jennifer’s been very proactive and we’ve been able to be more efficient at other tasks. I’ve crafted some language that I’d like to get into an amendment; can you review and let me know if the following is acceptable to the City and Ring Bender:

Phase 500. Inflow and Infiltration (I/I) Characterization Support

Task 502. Miscellaneous Client Support

Objective: The Consultant will assist the Client with support of wastewater-related activities, as requested by the Client. BC will utilize funds from Task 501 (FY14/15 I/I Activities).

Activities: The following activities will be performed relative to this task:

· Upon receiving a request for assistance on an out-of-scope work item, BC will prepare a bullet-list scope and a budget for each requested task in e-mail form. BC will not proceed unless authorized in writing by the City and by Ring Bender.

· BC will also provide a budget update on Phase 500 and indicate which activities under Task 501 may not be conducted.

Thanks,

Robert Lee, P.E.
