Hi Dan,

I made a few minor changes to the text. I don’t believe there is a specific license required to work in wetlands. However, you must have a permit from DSL as we stated. Overall, looks great and thank you.

Jen – Here’s what I’ve got. Anything else?

Greetings Marguerite,

There are two sites owned and maintained by Lexington Homeowners Estates that require immediate abatement to blockages of stream passage due to unmaintained vegetation overgrowth or dams created by resident beavers. These blockages threaten to cause flooding to many properties downstream upstream from the sites that rely on these waterways to be clear of obstructions for stormwater drainage.

The sites are as follows:

Site 1:

TLNO: 52E08AB07500

Notes: The south end of this property has significant ponding due to buildup of sediments. It requires fill removal to allow flow to culverts above the north end of the property. See attached property report “Site 1” for approximate location of known obstruction.

Site 2:

TLNOs: 52E05DD00375, 52E05DD09100, 52E05DD00374, 52E05DD04800

Notes: There are beaver dams blocking water passage in the SE corner of parcel 52E05DD00375. There may be unidentified obstructions upstream on the other properties. See attached property reports “Site 2 #1” for approximate location of known obstruction.

As some or all of these properties may be located in designated wetlands areas, your contractor or maintenance crew must be licensed permitted to work in designated wetlands areas and able to work with through Department of State Lands (DSL) prior to commencing work to determine the necessary permitting needed.
