It was not my intention to get pre-approval, I already attended the courses through the APWA. I was trying to figure out how you calculated the education requirements. It was not exactly clear to me since I am a new registered PE in the State. I already submitted my renewal because it’s been over a month and I have not receive a response from your agency. I believe I figured it out with help from another registered PE, but thanks anyways.

Jennifer,
The Board does not pre-approve courses for providers and its registrants. It is the responsibility of each registrant to determine methods of obtaining professional development hours and maintaining records of their professional education activities. In the event a registrant is requested to participate in an audit of the Board, the registrant must furnish documentation as provided in OAR 820-010-0635(5). PDH units must be obtained in qualifying activities related to the individual’s registration. A qualifying activity is any course of activity with a clear purpose and objective which improves, or expands the skills and knowledge relevant to the registrant’s field of practice or practices.
