Hi Sadie,
A couple of years ago I spoke with Garrett (and I'm forgetting his last name) about the native camas bulbs in the park along Mathias Road. If the crews would stop mowing, there would be a huge burst of blue flower in May. He did have the crew stop mowing after we talked and low and behold there were quite a few flowers. Then last year, they mowed them again. It just seems a shame to keep mowing--and slowing killing--them when they could be left alone for everyone to enjoy.
Also, along the new homes on the north side of the park, there is a lot of broom growing. It's a nasty, invasive weed. It really should be removed for the long term health of the park and the environment. I even offered some Oregon Grape plants that could be planted in their place. Nothing as ever come of that.
Please let me know if you need any further information. Thanks for getting back to me.
Carol

Hi Carol,
It would depend on what the issues were. I will let the Police and Public Works Director know so they can clean it up. Let me know what the other issues are and I will get them to the right people to have them addressed.
Thanks,
Sadie

Good Morning Sadie,
How should I contact about issues in Ivor Davies Park? I noticed this morning the bridge at the pond has been tagged. I also have a couple of over concerns I would like to discuss with the proper person.
Thank you. Have a great day.
