Since we do a lot of our own maintenance tasks ask a question about mechanical experience. You could ask about experience coordinating tasks with DEQ. Since not every wastewater plant has a biosolids management plan or a recycled water use plan you might want to ask about any experience writing site authorizations or coordinating recycled water use or managing land application of biosolids.

He will also need to live within half an hour of the treatment plant. He will have to rotate through being on call with the rest of us and needs to be able to respond rapidly. Laffayette is an hour away. We might want to mention that in the interview. His application does say he is willing to relocate.

Otherwise I think he looks like a good candidate for the job. He must have just got his treatment 2 because I checked all the applicants against the DEQ database before we started interviewing.
