Attachments: AddendumComments.pdf; Hi Hassan, I spoke with Justin’s supervisor, Sam Hunaidi, yesterday and was able to get a better understanding of what we need to provide in the plans regarding the ADA Ramps. I would like to make the following changes in an addendum if there is still time. 1 - I have attached details highlighting the ADA Options that are available and should be included in the plans. One of the ramp options (K) is similar to the detail provided on the current plan sheet C15, but does not detail a 4’ flat pad area at the base of the ramp for maneuverability. 2 - I revised note 5 to include options and directions for construction of the ramps. I also included a few changes to Sheet C9 regarding the MCC changes and ramp and sidewalk revisions around the utility pole. Regarding the 2’ planter, MCC requested that the planter be constructed behind the sidewalk on Robbins Ave only and requested a 30’ approach width. Please let me know if you have any questions. The City is building the sidewalk as the funds become available. The only section on those plans that pertain to ODOT at this time are sheets C8 and RD 756 detail. It may be more efficient if we did one permit for all the work rather than a piece at a time. Thanks, ______________________________ Michael E. Do we need a separate permit or can it be part of the existing permit for the sidewalks? For your reference, I have attached a set of plans for the entire project.
