Morgan, The fire hydrants are correct. It is the Storts adaptors that were installed on the steamer ports that are incorrect. Please see the attached e-mail. Maybe this will shed some light on things. Start from the bottom and read up. Thank you for your help.

I’m curious what happened on the fire hydrant issue Mike raises in his email below. I’m quite surprised to learn that the fittings may be wrong at this time.
Can you review the plans that Hassan Ibrahim approved for the City and compare them with the as-builts you accepted and determine if the City approved and accepted the wrong type of fire hydrant.

Good afternoon Mr. Thornton.
My name is Mike Penunuri and I’m the Fire Marshal for Molalla Fire District. I was in the Kelsey Loop extension today and noticed that the Stortz fittings are the wrong size on the fire hydrants. The fittings that are installed are 5 inch. Molalla is 4 inch. How do we get this issue corrected ? I look forward to hearing from you.
