Hi,
The HS has a business class that would like to do a project for City. The only thing I could come up with is painting the restrooms at our parks. Do we have paint available to do this? If not let’s make some arrangements to purchase some exterior paint.

We can supply the paint. I have also copied Public Works Director, Jennifer Cline who would coordinate the project if this is something you would want to do.

Dan –
Do you have the paint or would we need to supply it?

Corri – We have thought and thought. The only thing we can think of at this point is that the restrooms at both Fox Park and Long Park need to be painted. It is not a great job. Unfortunately we just do not have a lot. The only other job we thought of was scouring Ivor Davies park/Shorty’s Pond for garbage and trash.

Dan –
I am really not trying to pester you and it is okay if your office has nothing we can do. However, if anyone came up with anything could you let me know as volunteering for the city was my first choice.

Corri – I thought I sent you his response below but I failed to do so. My suggestion is that you contact him directly. He will have to listen to you.
On the other question I have asked my Staff to give me some thoughts. I will get you those thoughts tomorrow.

Steve – I met with Corri Ellis (Molalla High School Business Teacher) this past Friday regarding her desire to establish a Farmers Market operated by High School students. She is in the beginning stages of development but based on her initial concept I thought you might be interested in working with her and the City in developing their plan. I also mentioned that she should contact the Chamber.
