Did Eric have a recommendation for a diesel mechanic? If not, Jason may know of one. I believe we found one guy out of the Dalles Or and he may have found another not so far away by now.

So I Eric is here working on the generator and there seems to be fuel leaking into the oil. He is still troubleshooting some items but it looks like he may need to contact a diesel mechanic to do more extensive repairs. So for right now he is going to drain and refill the engine oil and we will only run if we have a loss of power. If the mechanic needs to tear down part of the engine we will not be able run it at all. If that is what needs to happen we will need to rent a backup generator. The one at the shop is too small. We need to decide if we want to try and rent one now or wait until we see what repairs are needed. Let me know your thoughts and I can speak with Erik, or if you want to speak with him I can give you his cell.

Ryan, Thank you for the heads up. The Shops also has the back up generator. Are we able to use it if needed until the repairs are made?

Just an FYI, the Generator is out of service at the Intake Pump Station. Eric was out to look at the Generator on Thursday after I noticed a lot of oil around the inside of the generator housing. He will be out again this afternoon to do some more troubleshooting. If we get into a situation where we need generator power we will need to call Eric to have him turn it on. I should know more this afternoon.
