The chain could be cleaned off…..why do you ask? The issue is that the holes are slotted where the screen attaches to the chain links. if you look at the 2 pics you can see the difference. Not all of the chain links are slotted only a few. But as they say a chain is only as stong as its weakest link.

Ill see what I can come up with. I believe this quote is from the manufacturer of the headworks. I am not sure if there are any other suppliers of these parts.
There is a 6 week lead time on these parts

Because it is over $10K a will need approval from council. Also, we will need to try to get 3 quotes. If you request a quote by email, that will be documentation enough if they do not respond. I usually give 2-3 weeks for a response in my requests.
Keep moving forward with the repair, I will need to discuss with Heather if we have available funds this FY.
