Hi Jason,

In order to flag legally in the State of Oregon, they will have to carry a Flaggers Certification Card. The course is typically not free so it is a good time to send both or one of them.

I would be interested. It would be a good idea for at least one of us to be certified as we can be available to assist the collections crew in the case of an emergency. I can give Erik and Jake a training course here from what I learned. When they have another class, you can send Jake and Erik.

Public Agency Work Zone Traffic Control (Flagging) Class

The Oregon Technology Transfer (T2) Center is conducting a free Public Agency Work Zone Traffic Control class is your area, and you are invited to send employees who may need this training.

When: Friday, April 10

Time: 8:00 am – 12:00 pm

Where: Wilsonville, Oregon

Participants in this class receive a flagger certification card that is valid for three years and may choose to receive 0.4 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), if needed.

Advanced registration is required, and seats will be filled on a first-enrolled, first-served basis. Please register by Friday, April 3^rd. Specific location information will be provided with your registration confirmation. There is no charge for this class.

To register, call or email with the names of each participant, the agency name, a phone number, and a contact email.
