Tiffany & David,

I have attached irrigation startup data and calculations for June 8 and June 9. As we discussed and you observed today, the City's WWTP Operators began the 2015 irrigation season. As required by the City's NPDES permit, the City is distributing recycled water under the Recycled Water Use Plan and your helpful guidance.

On Monday and based on observations and data collected at the irrigation sites, the WWTP Operators began the operation to start up the "big guns" to irrigate on Coleman Ranch on Monday, June 8. The warm, dry weather has helpfully continued to reduce the soil moisture content, as confirmed by moisture block readings. The first big gun began irrigating Monday afternoon and ran for 18 hours. Regular field observations indicated no ponding or runoff. We will continue to operate and monitor the operation of the big guns and any operation of the hand lines. Please let me know any questions.

Sincerely,

Jennifer Cline, P.E.

Subject: Follow up from today's call

Hi Jennifer

Please do document the city’s data collection for the recycled water application on Monday and frequently check the site and photo document. Please share that information with me. My staff and I are willing to work with you and your staff on ways to think about the application rate calculations should you wish to go through the plan amendment process in the future.
