Hi Jennifer. Thanks for the answers to our questions. I just have a couple more follow-up questions:
Have you had any high level alarms, and if so, how many and where? Yes we have had high level alarms at the Shel-Mar Pump Station only, the number is unknown. The high alarms are false alarms due to the floats getting hung up on FOG around the edge of the structure. We recently discussed how to address this issue, we are working toward installing a transducer to monitor the water level. As for the FOG, we have discussed sending a mailer in the water bill to all the neighborhood residence to bring awareness of the issue and offer solutions for keeping fats, oils and grease out of system.
At this time, the City does not experience I/I related issues at our City Pump stations resulting in high level alarms or overflows. Typical alarms are from power outages or mechanical failures that are addressed timely.
You may need to have Jon look into this one for the system history.
