I don’t think our code distinguishes work in right of way or driveway permits either.

The thing is, the code doesn’t give us the authority to administer demolition permits. There is no mention of demolition permits anywhere. I would assume that it’s lumped into the ‘building permit’ authority somehow, which is of course the county’s responsibility at this time.
In the interim before we fix the code, I am basically just requiring sediment/erosion control, and capping of utilities as a condition of approval, even though I really don’t have any ‘approval’ authority.
