I do not want to be insensitive given your loss, however, after reviewing the teamster contract I will need some additional information for the approval. See the attachment, Section 11.4 regarding Bereavement.

Is this an immediate family member? When is the funeral? Do you need additional time to travel to the funeral?

You enter "B" on your time sheet instead of the hours for the days you will

be off. Any time off beyond 3 days need approval from the City Manager. I

need to know what days and how many you need in order to get approval.
