Would you be available to get together on Monday or Tuesday of next week to briefly discuss the anticipated plans? You mentioned not having a set of plans from the engineer, but we may not need that much detail to meet our immediate needs. We’re in the process of reworking the lots on our properties and having a discussion sooner might help both our engineer and yours. We can be available Monday morning or anytime on Tuesday. It’s typically a lot easier to see what will fit or work with a site plan. A couple years ago we attempted to work with Marc on that area and some of the possible challenges that may be discovered as a result of the project. First, I believe most of the street drains into MCC’s parking area into a drain on the northeast corner. In addition, we wanted to discuss how to place a sidewalk through that area. Our parking area there is shallow, and we wanted to discuss different options on ingress/egress for all the different service/delivery vehicles, customers and employees who use that area. Specifically, what we would like to do is discuss with the City, City Engineer, and Public Works director, before the plans are finalized, to provide input and relevant information that may impact the plans. I understand there is an opportunity to provide input after the plans are completed, but if we could discuss some before, it may save some effort and expense. Please let us know if this is possible. The two priorities at this point are Long Park and City Hall and then secondarily increase our surveillance at Fox Park and the Library as well as Clarke Park. I will chat with the Police Chief and our Public Works Director in detail and provide you with a detailed list in the next few days. Also, I may have mentioned this previously but the City will be rebuilding Grange Avenue from Main Street to Heintz this year and a portion of the improvement will be sidewalks and access/ADA improvements along the entire stretch of the improvement. The project will specifically impact your Grange Avenue access b creating an actual driveway and sidewalk section. Public Works Director, Jennifer Cline is working with our engineer to finalize plans and we will let you know when you can view a plan for comment.
