Generally, if it’s not an emergency, Nicholas will send me an email or if it’s more urgent, a phone call. You can also include Sgt. Long or Sgt. Holmes in the email. Since our supervisor coverage is subject to days off and meetings, etc., if you don’t get hold of me right away and it’s important, check with Ronda or Karly to see if there’s a supervisor working or who’s available.

Subject: code violation
Hi Chief-
I witnessed a code and parking violation on Toliver Rd. where a truck and trailer were parked at the intersection on the sidewalk and in the bike lane. Typically I call Dispatch for criminal police matters, however, when it is a code enforcement violation (city business) I would prefer not to call dispatch and go through typical City communication channels. Please let me know how to address these violations in the future. For example, is there an all police bulletin email I can send out for parking violations.
