I spoke with Julie Rush (county alarm coordinator) and she is making notes and confirms they will not bill us for the alarms in the future. I threw in just a slight dose of financial hardship for good measure.

Unfortunately, I didn't have to lie :)

Dan and Jen, I made the change a couple of years ago by telling dispatch that we would be the primary responders to our facilities. Now I see that early this morning, they sent two county cars to our call...along with our own officers. The call said to "notify Molalla officers if there is a

problem and that's not what we had worked out. I called radio to

complain and after some wrangling, got hold of a supervisor and it has been changed to say we are the primary responders and responsible units.

Hopefully we are okay now and won't have any more issues. Like I said, this should have been taken care of long ago.

Rod and Jen - We need to chat about this. The one alarm that they mention in this letter occurred during a power outage and Jon Patrick called them off. We respond to alarms with PW on calls and Molalla Police personnel.

My understanding is that we had a Deputy respond to the Waste Water Plant recently. Do we need to chat with dispatch?
