This product actually has a 30 minute cure time. This would allow us to reset all manholes on the 18th and then patch back that same day. Can this be approved? Sorry I was not aware of such a product when I sent my previous email requesting 17th construction/18th pave back on these… I asked our General Construction superintendent and he indicated that they would be using just the grout and concrete dobie blocks for elevation changes. We don’t know what the metal spacers are. Hopefully Dobie blocks will work for you guys? In regards to the diamond cut, since this project was built from ODOT standards, I will defer to their standards. Please see ODOT standard drawing, Manhole Frame Adjustment RD360 Method “C”, with the exception of #4 bars and PCC. The #4 bars and PCC may be eliminated and PCC replaced with AC. Please Note: Install metal spacers with non-shrink grout and allow minimum 24 hour cure. Please provide submittal for the spacers and non-shrink grout.
