Hi Sadie,

I met with MCC a week or so ago. They have not provided a quote as of yet. I assumed the funding would come from building maintenance, but I do remember you say there is CIS money as well.

Chief was unable to make the meeting so they may not provide a quote for the police storage building. I was not certain where he would like the camera to be located, but there is a pole nearby that they may work.

Would the Park fee be collect on the utility water/sewer bill?

Subject: Camera's and Recreation Immunity

Good Morning,

What is the status on the quote for camera’s if we are still moving forward with that item. Also, if we decide not to get the camera’s we can dog ear the money to level the skate park due to the recreational immunity law suit that I sent you last week.

Basically, after reading it and speaking with CIS it leaves us wide open for tort claims. CIS is going to recommend that high risk parks such as skate parks be leveled and city’s are allowed to charge park fees. Recreational immunity prohibited us from charging fees but since the judgement; which negates the immunity we will be able to. Something to consider.

Thanks,

Sadie
