Dan - I recommend for the SCTD drivers to use public streets to circulate to the station such as; Molalla Ave, Main St. Robbins St., Center Ave. and Ross St. This is a minimal impact time wise to their routes.
Another option would be to circulate through the less used North Public Lot adjacent to the bus stop.
I don’t think she got the message that near miss situations are taken just as seriously as accidents when it comes to safety.

Shirley – We have received complaints regarding your buses and close calls from people going to and from the medical offices and just today witnessed a close call between one of your buses and a group of high school kids. I mentioned to you previously in March that I did not believe this would be a safe route with regard to pedestrians that move through the parking areas and the buses seem to be driving too fast anyway.
There seems to be no reasoning at this point to continue this practice as I personally have observed buses turning left and right onto Ross Street from N. Molalla Avenue and using the parking area north of the bus stop to turn around. We have also witnessed buses turning left and right from Main Street onto Center Avenue. There obviously was a different route used during all the construction that occurred over the last six months.
We have raised the issue on multiple occasions at this point. Please reroute your buses away from the public parking area adjacent to City Hall as soon as possible and we may avoid a tragic accident.
