So, the deadline to reply was yesterday at 5pm. I did not hear from either of you so I am assuming it is OK to run as is …

Best to reach me by cell the next couple of hours. But I will be in Molalla at that time at C’est la Vie talking to Al beginning at noon if you want to reach me and speak in person.

Also, I’m putting together the story this week about Stafford Land coming into Molalla. Could I get you to comment on what all of this development means for the future of Molalla? Would you prefer to email or do you want me to call?

Al and Cheryl Borromeo are the owners of C’est La Vie, tap room and all that development out there. Al Borromeo is also the Dentist and owner of Fountain Valley Dental. Al is the person you need to chat with. I thought I had his cell number but I do not. I will get in touch with him and see what I can do to help.

Dan:

Something I could really use your help on is getting n touch with the owned of C’est La Vie so I can do a story on their taproom expansion. Can’t get anyone there to call me back. Do you have number other than the restaurant number I can use? And I can’t rremember if it was you but someone said I should talk to the dentist who owns the building there, that he has his fingers in a lot, or something like that. Wass that you? Do you know how I can get in touch with him other than the office line listed on their website? Hitting stone walls there, too.

Daniel – First, I would like to tell you that I generally liked your article with one exception. Your 5th paragraph is not true and I am not sure where you came up with that statement. There are only a couple of items the City can go into Executive Session for including litigation and labor negotiations. The Budget is not one of those instances. And it is just emphatically not true.

Until you showed up two meetings ago Peggy Savage was infrequently reporting on City Council meetings by using the video or waiting until minutes were available. Your actual presence is appreciated and I hope more people would participate by going to the Council meetings. The Chamber doesn’t even show up but they print our schedule.

Finally, I will have been here for 2 years at the end of June. When I arrived the relationship with the Pioneer had already been severed. I would not allow anyone in City Hall to speak with Peggy Savage other than myself. My concern is basically removed with your presence. There is no conspiracy and we want you to have access. If you find resistance there is history that needs to be chipped away.
