Hi Jennifer,

Thank you for your comment on the ARTS Business Draft Cases for your project. Please review the attached document to see the change.

We are kicking off the scoping process and we will be scoping exactly what is in the business case form. If it is not accurate please let me know by Friday, September 25th.

We also need to know who will be the contact(s) from your agency for the scoping process. This person will need to review technical cost estimates, scoping documents, answer site specific questions and may need to attend a site visit.

Thanks,

Katherine S.C. Burns, P.E.

Hi,

My only comment is the last section under Intermodal Opportunities it states the following:

Both intersections fall within the scope of the OR 211 Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Enhancement project currently in the preliminary design phase.

This is a partially true statement, only the Ona Way intersection is within the OR 211 Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Enhancement project limits. Otherwise the scoping looks good.

Thank you,

Jennifer Cline, P.E.

As part of the ongoing process of refining the ARTS Systemic Project list, ODOT will start by conducting partial scoping activities to better clarify what work is to be done and the associated costs. To guide this process we are now using a Business Case format that summarizes the issues, context and proposed solutions. ODOT staff utilized your application(s) to develop Draft Business Cases for each project on the 150% list.

Please review the attached Draft Business Cases for accuracy and clarity. Your familiarity with the locations, the situation at each of them, and your intent in submitting the applications will prove invaluable in guiding our scoping activities. Please respond to Katherine Burns Katherine.S.BURNS@odot.state.or.us with any comments, corrections or additional information by Wednesday, August 1st.

Thank you for your continuing participation in this new program.
