Hi Tina - I had a brief conversation with Tiffany on the phone this morning. I informed her that the itemized text seems to read backwards from the rest of the document. She said she would look into it.

Her main question was in regards to wanting a meeting with Coleman to introduce herself. She informed me this was for safety purposes because she would be doing random RWU inspections this summer to make sure we are staying with in the permitted plan. I told her I would pose the question to her, but could not guarantee he would be willing to meet with her (DEQ).

Thanks, Jenn. You’re right- it does look like they reversed the classifications in the letter narrative. We can talk about this potential change when I come out next week. Are you and Tiffany planning to talk just about this issue this morning, or does she also want to further discuss the recycled water use site agreements?

How did the meeting go?

Best regards,

Tina

Hi Tina,

Attached is the hand delivered letter from Tiffany at last night’s council meeting. The letter is not surprising to me however, please notice paragraph 2, part (b) & (c). I believe the classification levels, specifically Tier 1 and 2, are reversed in the letter. Tiffany will be calling me today around 10 AM and I will bring it to her attention. Based on the rest of the letter, a Tier 2 is classified as having a design flow of 1 MGD or greater, or serves and industry that can have a significant impact and not Tier 1 as noted in the letter.

Regards,
