Just to clarify further. The best score possible is 100, we should be operating a program around an 80 score in regards to maintenance. Currently we are at a 61 score.

Jen and Dan,
Capital Asset & Pavement Services (CAPS) is moving along in the process and now have your street database built in the Streetsaver software. Next steps are to build a maintenance decision tree, already discussed with them, and then move on to providing you with yearly costs and a PCI report. Attached is your Network Summary which breaks out the streets by classification. The overall network unfortunately is only 61 and is likely being inflated by the newer developments (2000 and newer). CAPS will run an unconstrained (money is not a problem) scenario followed by a 70 in 5 years, 75 in 5 years, and 75 in 10 years. Trying to get you up into the 80’s at this point will be too expensive and you won’t likely get any support for funding. The goal is to get a long term funding or utility so you can make headway on repairs. I am hoping to have the summary numbers by the end of this week so we can talk about them next week in advance of finalizing the report so you will be able to move it forward to Council.
