Hi Gerald,

If possible would like to sit down and go through the budgets before they go to Heather.

The high-lighted boxes cannot be broke out per project at this time. I do not have specific projects identified because I do not know where we stand on sidewalk and street repair priorities. I will have a better idea once we get through the pavement maintenance review. The Main Street Walk of Fame improvements could come out of the Sidewalk and Street Repair item, but that will need Dan’s approval. I was told he wanted sidewalks fixed on non-highway systems, but I’m not sure how else to pay for the walk of fame unless we list it as a CIP.

I have no Street CIP $ planned for the Molalla Ave project at this time, just SDC funding budget at $300K. It looks like it would be good to budget $150K towards Molalla Ave. There is at least $450K in roadway improvement, not including what was already calculated to be spent from SDCs. I’m not sure if this will require approval from ODOT to use funds towards this project.

I don’t see an issue with the percent increases to 3%, the contract only has a 2% increase beginning July 1st. PERS seems a bit high at 27%.

Hi Jen,

Please take a look at the percentages in red and let me know if there is anything union contract wise that will cause a change up in percentages. The areas highlighted in yellow need to be broken down and I don’t have your projects or numbers for that. Please email me with those and I can populate the cell. There is a balance shown at the bottom that can be used for the Molalla Ave project once everything else has been covered. No other projects should be started.

I spoke with Steve at the County and we will not have an IGA in place or income survey done in time to work on the project this FY. We can’t work on this project at all until the County’s work is done and you have an executed IGA. The ball is in the County’s court and they will take up the rest of this FY working through the paperwork. I’ve put the CDBG revenue and expenditures in next FY budget and the revenue from CDBG is 80% per Steve.

I want to wrap up these numbers before my meeting with Heather this Friday to finalize the budget. The numbers aren’t truly due until the end of the month but if we get this in early then there will be some time to adjust going forward if needed.

Regards,
