He agreed that an Executive Summary detailing your assumptions, methods and findings would be good to present to them as well. Also, if you know the municipalities that are also going through rate adjustments, it would be good to identify them in a sentence or highlight them on the chart. Just to show we are not the only municipality looking at our rates and in the next year the City may not be as high on the list comparatively. I’ve also attached a comparison to other agencies based on recent numbers. I can adjust this list of cities to ones matching population if you want and the population range would be 5,000 – 9,999. Going forward I need to know if you will want this in a written report format or if you will include these exhibits in a staff report. Let me know which way you want to go. I will be at home starting at noon today through the rest of the week on a short medical leave (nothing serious) but will be checking my emails and can still work from home later in the week.
