Hi Luanne,

This is something I would like to possibly do for all the poles that are City owned. We had another pole near 610 E 7th St. that was hit over the weekend and I believe is also City owned. I would like to discuss what is the best option to move forward, and what it would cost the City to switch over to PGE poles.

Thanks,

Hi Jennifer –

There was a city owned street light only pole that has rotted and our crew was called out to make safe. The power to the light pole has been disconnected and the wire is coiled with a cone over it. The notes say Ryan, with City of Molalla is the contact and the city picked up the rotted pole.

Since this is considered end of life you will need to either 1) replace the light and pole 2) have PGE replace and bill the city for a new fixture and direct buried black fiberglass pole (to remain city owned), or 3) PGE will replace and own the new light/pole, monthly cost would be $14.93 ($10.15 for the fixture and $4.78 for the pole).

Please let me know how to proceed.

Thanks,
