220 W Main got an electrical permit to reconnect the electrical service but nothing else.
270 N Molalla Ave no permits for any current work.
I have included Diane Bautista in this email. She is our support staff and will get files open on both of these properties. I will have her send a building inspector out to verify the work being done and put them on notice that permits are required if they are.
Thanks for the heads up.

Hi Kim,
Thank you for your prompt response. At this time they are only removing the chimney for a roof leak repair. I will keep an eye on it, but I don’t expect them to rebuild it either.
We have a few other locations in town doing some internal store remodeling I would like to check on as well. Do you have any building permits pulled for the following:
· Keith Brown Building – 220 W Main St.
· Unknown business (formerly Caterpillar Clubhouse which has moved) – 270 N Molalla Ave.
Also, if you have any questions regarding work in Molalla, don’t hesitate to contact Nicholas or myself in the future.
Sincerely,
Jennifer Cline, P.E.

There no permits at that address; however, I looked at Google Earth photos and the only “brick” I see on the building are the old chimney’s. If they are removing the chimney’s no permits would be required for that.
If they start rebuilding the chimney then a permit would be required. At this point, I think the City will have to work with them to obtain the required street and sidewalk permits. If you see evidence of them rebuilding the chimney, please let us know and we can work with them to obtain the required permits. My guess is that is an old building and they no longer use the chimney so they are removing them before the fall down from disrepair.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi Kim,
Looking into 123 N Molalla Ave. There are a few gentlemen removing brick from the roof the building and wanted to make sure they have a construction permit to do so. They are throwing the materials from the roof into a trailer in the street without a permit from the City either for parking and sidewalk closure. Please feel free to send someone out to check this out. If you are not the correct contact, please forward this to correct person.
