The URP $3.1M can only be used on the projects specifically outlined and adopted by the Urban Renew Board. The current Heintz Street extension is estimated at $1-1.5 Million. We will have to wait and see what the bids come in at on June 9th.
Other street funds are received annually from the ODOT exchange fund and Utility Franchise Taxes. These funds are currently used on street enhancement projects, such as the Stowers, Grange and Heintz project, and for street maintenance.
SDC street funds can also be used on projects identified in the current SDC methodology.
