We are not obligated to maintain the pond, however we do maintain the sewer lift station.  I would like to propose to MRE subdivision that they provide an easement for maintenance and operation of the lift station.

They’ll need to find out if a: the pond is big enough and b: can they use the pond. Something to be aware of regarding this pond in Molalla River Estates: The City is supposed to be the owner of the parcel, but the dedication was never recorded. We’re obligated to maintain it due to the pump on-site.

Hi Nicolas,

Looks like they met all of the requirements for roadway, ped connection to the Hwy, and fire access turn around. PW conditions will include stormwater detention whether the do it onsite or at the other pond and will have to have that worked out to City satisfaction prior to plan approval for construction. Jen and I can work out the specific language but the applicant will need to be aware that stormwater detention may impact the property.
