I would refer them to the Region 1, District 2C permit office for a start.

Quick question, in your experience what does ODOT require for ROW work in regards to asphalt removal and replacement? I was going to forward him onto ODOT anyway but just wondering if you knew.

Hi Nicolas, thanks for this information. The sewer installer was asking if you know if the homeowner is required to dig into the street asphalt, and then be responsible to replace the asphalt when connecting to the sewer. I guess in Portland they don’t want you to ever touch the asphalt, and the sewer main is stubbed to the property edge, while in Washington County, the homeowner is required to dig up then replace the asphalt in the road.

Thanks

Gary

Gary,

The attached document has the last few pages of the annexation agreement that outline the findings, and policy direction for homes hooking into utilities.
