I think they have a 1.25” meter. Peggy should have it in their account file.

Hi James,

Just a reminder that there will be SDC charges related to the hookup to public sewer. These will be due prior to the final permit being issued, which is done but is waiting for a few final details.

Typical sewer SDC is 4,600$ for a ¾” corresponding water meter size. There may be credits from the previous use on the site, as well.

Jennifer:

Good afternoon. We are now at a critical phase of our development in Molalla. To move on I’d to get a few questions answered so I can finish the planning and begin work ASAP in a few areas of the project. Would you please be kind enough to provide answers to the following questions so we can finish up the design phases and move on?

1. We’d like to tap into the manway when we install our sewer lateral to our property. Can we connect our sewer line at the manway on Shaver Ave? The sewer connection may be made to the sewer main on Shaver. I have a permit that I will be processing as soon as I receive the Traffic Control Plan for the work.

2. Can you please advise what the water line on Shaver Ave is made of? This is necessary for our hydrant project and it’s holding up the design phase. The water main is 12” PVC.

3. What type of backflow prevention, if any, will be required for our hydrant line? A backflow devices are not required as long as a public easement is given to the City for proper maintenance. However, the City does require the hydrant be a Mueller Centurion 423 (preferred) or Clow Model F2500. See attached Standard.

4. I am in process of developing our traffic plan for the sewer line project and water line project. Could you please let me know what hours we will be allowed to work? 7AM to 7PM or Dusk (whichever comes first). Since this is an industrial zoned area we are hoping we can work a long day to get the project done and only impact traffic for one day. . The sewer main is located on the east side of Shaver. I am anticipating the roadway will need to be excavated ½ at a time and utilize single lane closures and steel plates in the process to keep traffic moving. Proper signing is required for the steel plates. See Section 800 of the ODOT Standard Drawings for plan examples http://www.oregon.gov/ODOT/HWY/ENGSERVICES/pages/traffic_drawings.aspx

I apologize for the frequent contact / questions but hope you understand our urgent need to get these questions answered. Thanks in advance Jennifer for replying to our questions at your earliest convenience during this critical time in our projects.
