Subject: Moisture Block Excel Sheets
Importance: Normal
Attachments: appendix N-85% efficiency.xlsx; appendix N-75% efficiency.xlsx; Hi, As promised in our previous weekly meeting, I have attached both excel files for calculating set times for irrigation. If you enter the same moisture block reading for the matching section, you will see the N-75% efficiency table yields a higher Max gross irrigation allowed, therefore a longer run time. The City does have the ability to use this table, but must extra steps when using it. This process to use the N-75% efficiency table is vaguely spelled out in the Recycled Water Plan, however when using the N-75% efficiency tables last year the following was done: · Notified DEQ we were using the lower efficiency table for the big guns only, · documented the startup and the first week with photos showing no run-off from the applied water, · printed these sheets daily and kept them in the binder with the readings for record keeping, · provided the startup & first weeks documentation with photos to DEQ, · and hand lines were restricted to using the N-85% efficiency table only. Let me know if you have any questions, we can discuss next week on Tuesday if needed.
