FYI.

The Pump mentioned was for the old big gun we just purchased.

We saw another spike yesterday in coliforms, immediately stopped irrigating as required. We are working to get a quote from a diver to repair the isolation valve between lagoons. Isolating the lagoons will allow us to close lagoon 1 off from the treatment process and give the biosolids some time to settle out, thus reducing our coliform spikes.

Hello Jennifer,

We’re clear to irrigate today. Sergei took the water pump to Cornell Pumps in Portland to try to get a new one. He said it was a “lemon” pump. No word on when they’ll be back. I have the quote for the dive work. Will send it to you today.

Thanks,

Jason

Hi Jason,

Thank you for the update. David called me yesterday. I will give him a call back this afternoon, just in case you hear anything from him.

Hello Jennifer,

Exceeded coliform count for yesterday’s sample. Shut down plant. Called Ballard Marine Construction to get quote for valve work. They will be here @ 1100. Cycling DAF’s, will pull out guns and Sergei is out looking @ water pump. I emailed Brown and Caldwell and told them we will complete nitrogen application rates. We started yesterday and got Mount Hope site completed; 30.0 lbs of nitrogen applied.

Thanks,

Jason
