It’s going to be a tight fit with that access because you have very minimal spacing between the corner and your neighbor’s property. We’ll find what works best, and touch base next week. We are at the end of a “hammerhead” cul-da-sac that is also marked with red curbs. We would like to make a driveway approach to the shop the would require the approach to be cut through the red area. Will this be a problem? Brenda West Service Coordinator American Heating Inc. There are no architectural standards necessarily, but there are building codes which I don’t administer. Those are administered by Clackamas County at this time. I would suggest the structure be aesthetically appealing but I have no legal authority to require it. Accessory structures are required to be no higher than the primary structure (home) and look similar in appearance to the home as well (similar siding, etc.). In order for us to submit the drawings for you we have to “sign the dotted line” with Parker Pole Buildings. My hopes is that you can tell me a rundown of what is required for us to build. I would hate to sign my life away for them to build and then submit the drawings to you and get turned down, I would be out $1,500.00. Are there specific requirements that we have to meet? Will we be required to have a particular color (since we live in a development), over hangs, gutters, etc….? We have a neighbor to one side of us, will that affect us building a shop? I know below you said we are R1 which indicates ok to build and I spoke to Clackamas County and they said setbacks are 5’ off the property line sides and rear and 10’ from the sidewalk. Sorry to throw a ton of questions at you but I’m hoping to get MOST of by questions answered before committing to anything with Parker Pole Buildings.
