Hi Kelly,

I have a few questions in regards to the email below.

· Is ODOT planning to consult the design work for OR 211?

· Has Daniel spoken with you already?

Thanks,

Good Morning Ms. Cline,

I stopped by last week in the hopes I might have a chance to talk over a design package that is coming out in the near future. I understand you were under some deadlines and I completely understand that scenario.

In brief, my name is Dan Pavela and I represent T.Y. Lin International, a full service consulting engineering firm, practicing locally with state and local public interests.

We have been tracking two very interesting projects for some time and it has come to our attention that they may be advertised pretty soon. Both projects, albeit under ODOT oversight, have quite a bit to do with the City of Molalla and that is why I am contacting you. Specifically, the two projects are: the OR-211: OR-231 to Meadowbrook re-paving project (and associated ADA improvements); and the OR-211 Bicycle and Pedestrian Safety Enhancement Project that will affect a good piece of OR 211 just to east of the Safeway shopping center and continuing a block west of Commercial Parkway in Molalla.

It is, and always has been, TYLI’s policy to meet with the ultimate end user of a project to assess their needs, concerns, and expectations. We feel this is too often over-looked and we would appreciate an opportunity to meet with you, or your assigned Project Manager, to discuss these topics.

I would assume this week, with Thanksgiving on the way, would be difficult for you to find time to spend with me. That said, I would make myself available at your convenience over the next couple of weeks if you could find some time to discuss you key issues related to these projects.

I sincerely appreciate your taking the time to read this email and I very much look forward to talking with you in the very near future.

Sincerely,
