So I think we can work something out with Keith. He needs to check on his end though.

Correct! It will be good for him since it takes PERS sometimes 3 months before they send the retiree their first check. He just can’t work more than 1039 hours in a calendar year.

Subject: Work Question

Hi Debbie – I have a work question and could think of nobody with a wealth of information quite as gifted as yourself.

We have a Lead Water Treatment Plant Operator/Supervisor who is retiring on April 10th. We have yet to find a replacement. Isn’t it O.K. to have him come back and work for wages only and it will not have an issue on his PERS or be a problem for us?
