Regarding the plotter, looks like there are more issues and it will cost $500 or more to repair.

If you decide to approve the lease, I will look at purchasing a plotter to our budget for 2015/16.

Hi Jenn,

1. All set up for tomorrow’s install of the Trimble base station. I’m out tomorrow, but MCC was out today to set up the internet port and the installer was out as well.

2. More trouble in Plotterville. Precision Images came and the error messages apparently point to a $500 part (hard drive) that may or may not ultimately fix the problem. Plus labor… I am heavily leaning against sinking more money into it as it seems like something has triggered the machine to decide everything needs replacement regardless of whether it does.

I am hoping that we will be able to put a plotter purchase into our upcoming budget, as Dan H suggested. For our immediate needs, we _could_ lease until that time and then purchase the rest. I’ve looked into that option with them. The previous numbers were for a plotter/scanner. Since our scanner is fine, we can get a plotter that prints up to 36’ for around $3500. I have attached an invoice which outlines the purchase cost and the cost if we were to lease it from February until September and then buy.
