You have another chance to learn more, and ask our legal, risk management and claims experts your specific questions. CIS’ second recreational immunity webinar is scheduled for Tuesday, April 26 at 10 a.m. WEBINAR ANNOUNCEMENT Recreational Immunity - Q & A In Johnson v. Gibson, the Oregon Supreme Court held that individual government employees are not “owners” under the Oregon Public Use of Lands Act and are no longer protected by recreational use immunity. As a result, CIS expects to see a sharp increase in lawsuits filed directly against individual public employees who operate, maintain, or repair recreational areas. Tune in to this important webinar for CIS’ recommendations on how to mitigate the new risks facing government entities involved in recreational properties — and how to protect your employees. CIS experts will also answer questions at the conclusion of the webinar. SPEAKERS: OUTLINE: KEY RESULTS: Learn how to mitigate and manage the new risks stemming from the loss of recreational immunity. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Chief administrators, public works directors, park and recreation managers, risk managers, and others who oversee parks and facilities. CREDIT: HOW DO I CONNECT WITH THIS EVENT?
