I don’t anticipate additional needs from the duty on call. However, if something comes up or additional cleanup is needed after the event on City property, please note the time and details on your timesheets.

Sadie,
To my knowledge there has been no communication from the Buckaroo Association to the Rotary Club. We have been left to checking the web site for dates… thank you for sending us this list of Mexican Rodeos. The only date we had that was correct is 8/30. This will most certainly cause a problem since I had already signed up parking lot assistance groups for the dates we thought were correct L
The Rotary Club always requests the parking assistance groups return the following Monday morning by 9am to clean up the parking lot as part of their contract with the Rotary Club. This last event, Gallo De Oro had a crew out picking up garbage before our group got there on Monday morning. We will be checking with them to see if that is something they are going to do routinely as it was a big help for us.
Thank you again for this information, Sadie. I will now go back to the drawing board and try to get my parking groups to sign up for these different dates.

Hello everyone,
I am not sure where the event miscommunication, the MBA is usually good about notifying the volunteer/civic groups. Also, I want to confirm with the groups that you still have volunteer groups assisting with necessary clean up the day after an event which is what has been agreed to and done in years past.
Just in case here are the next dates for the Mexican rodeos. I have included the Kiwanis group as well.

I thought everyone might like to know we collected $8311.25 at Sunday’s Mexican Festival. That is 1662 cars. Not bad for an event that we had less than 24 hours notice for J Guess it is a good thing Monte and I drove by on Saturday and noticed something was happening?!
