Hi Dan,

Here is the final quote for the hauling off the contaminated soil. With your approval, I will have 3 Kings start to haul off the soils.

Additionally, we should be able to charge a portion of the tonnage to the property owner for Autotech NW. Reason is, serious contaminated soil was removed to for the excavation to reconnect the sewer lateral connection. I can get an estimate from Greg on those quantities tomorrow.

Subject: Petroleum Contaminated Soil

Jennifer,

We just received approval from the landfill for disposal of the petroleum contaminated soil. I contacted Greg from ML Houck regarding us removing and disposing of the soil. He mentioned that he weighed the soil and that there is approximately 55 tons of the soil, which is a little more than we had discussed (we had discussed approximately 22 cubic yards). The price for disposal is $175/ton so I wanted to make certain that we have authorization to proceed. Assuming that the soil weight is indeed 55 tons, that would make disposal of the soil approximately $9,625. I’m attempting to get trucks lined up for tomorrow, but it being so late in the day, it might not happen until Thursday. I’ll wait to confirm the trucks until I get authorization from you. Please let me know if you would like us to proceed.

Thanks Jen,

Daniel Harrison, EIT
